Experienced mortgage industry professional joins M12 Capital to support Ontario mortgage brokers and agents with private and alternative lending solutions.
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Sept. 11, 2026 /CNW/ -- M12 Capital is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Jardine as Senior Manager, Business Development – Broker Channel, strengthening the company's commitment to mortgage brokers and agents across Ontario.
Jardine brings more than 20 years of experience in the Canadian mortgage and financial services industry, with a background spanning mortgage underwriting, alternative lending, private mortgage financing, business development and broker relationship management. His experience includes roles with CWB Optimum Mortgage, CMLS Financial, Equitable Bank and Home Trust.
In his new role, Jardine will focus on expanding M12 Capital's relationships with Ontario mortgage brokers, mortgage agents and brokerages, helping mortgage professionals identify and structure private and alternative mortgage opportunities while providing direct access to M12's lending and underwriting team.
"Paul brings exactly the combination of broker relationships, mortgage experience and practical credit knowledge we were looking for," said George Moutsouroufis, President & CEO of M12 Capital. "Our objective is to make M12 one of the first calls an Ontario mortgage broker makes when they have a private or alternative mortgage opportunity. Paul understands the broker business, understands lending and, most importantly, understands the value of responsiveness and strong relationships."
M12 Capital works with licensed mortgage brokers and agents across Ontario on a range of private mortgage lending and alternative financing solutions, including first mortgages, second mortgages, refinance and bridge transactions, commercial mortgage financing and other real estate-secured lending opportunities, subject to M12's underwriting criteria.
Jardine's responsibilities will include developing new broker relationships, expanding M12's presence within the Ontario mortgage broker channel, assisting brokers with mortgage scenarios and helping connect qualified mortgage opportunities with M12's underwriting and lending platform.
"I'm excited to be joining M12 Capital and returning to a dedicated lender business development role," said Jardine. "A large part of my career has been spent working directly with mortgage brokers and helping them find solutions for transactions that don't always fit traditional lending guidelines. I'm looking forward to reconnecting with brokers across Ontario, developing new relationships and helping mortgage professionals understand where M12 can provide value."
The appointment comes as M12 Capital continues to expand its Ontario private mortgage lending platform, broker distribution network and lending capacity. The company's approach is focused on practical underwriting, responsive communication, direct access to decision-makers and long-term partnerships with mortgage professionals.
M12 Capital is an Ontario-based private mortgage lender and Mortgage Investment Corporation (MIC) providing alternative real estate financing solutions primarily through the mortgage broker channel.
M12 works with licensed Ontario mortgage brokers and agents on residential and commercial mortgage opportunities, including first mortgages, second mortgages, refinance transactions, bridge financing and other private lending solutions.
The company is focused on providing brokers with responsive service, practical underwriting and direct access to experienced mortgage decision-makers.
