Over 3,000 Workers Demand Fair Contracts
CHICAGO, Jan. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Workers at Rush University Medical Center and University of Chicago Medical Center, represented by Teamsters Local 743, will hold a press conference on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 3 p.m. to discuss ongoing negotiations at both hospitals and raise awareness about these employers' unwillingness to negotiate a contract that ensures these hardworking Teamsters jobs reflect current industry standards.
Teamsters will not back down until both medical centers agree to negotiate contracts that offer the fair compensation and respect our members have more than earned.
